Decanter magazine raves that De Martino and Casa Marin ¨excite the palate¨

Decanter Magazine recently reviewed 17 Chilean wines that they consider ¨exciting to the palate¨. Two of our featured vineyards received excellent reviews!

Charming the judges De Martino‘s Reserva Legado Carmenere is described as vibrant but not overwhelming, which is a beautiful mix of adjectives when it comes to this flagship varietal.

But they don’t stop there – De Martino‘s Viejas Tinajas Cinsault was given excellent praise for its unique production: this wine is made in large earthenware jars! Who could know that it would result in floral notes?

Following is an impressive pair of wines from Casa Marin, beginning with their Miramar Vineyard Riesling. The critics believe that this 2010 vintage is beyond sensational; elegant and refined, but with a nice zing of toasted lime to awaken the taste-buds.

Their Laurel Sauvignon Blanc is described by Decanter Magazine with such colorful language, readers’ mouths begin to water – ¨Cooked aspargus, pink grapefruit and honey… Succulent and utterly invigorating¨. We can’t say no to that!

Congratulations to our vineyards for this wonderful feature, we are ready to pour a glass!
