Description: One of most aromatic and easy recognizable wine varietals, can be made into an excellent desert wine. 

Origin: Alsace

Requirements: Cool climate with sunshine during the day. Calcareous soils relatively dry and exposed.

Valleys: Mainly grown in the Casablanca valley, foggy mornings which clear and the temperature increases.

Tasting notes: 

Colour: From light to dark golden yellow with a copper tone, depending upon the fruit ripeness.

Aromas: Typically lychee, rose petal, Turkish delight and perfume.

Palate: Marked by its full texture, low acidity, fleshy fruit (mango, peach and apricot) and spicy tones.

Pairing: The dry aromatic flavours of Gewürztraminer are a great accompaniment to:
